# Wordify

Wordify is a calm, scholarly alternative to gamified vocabulary apps like Duolingo and Drops.
It is built around the idea of "ambient" or passive learning: words show up where you already
look — your phone's notification shade, lock screen widget, and home-screen widget — so
vocabulary grows from glances, not streaks. When you do open the app, an SM-2 spaced-repetition
engine schedules reviews and five training modes (Flashcards, Spelling, Word Search, Picture
Match, Sentence Builder) keep practice varied.

- Auto-rotation: words cycle automatically on a schedule (5 min – 3 hr on Android; WidgetKit timeline on iOS).
- Offline: works fully offline. No account, no sign-up.
- Pricing: free tier + 7-day full Premium trial on first install. Premium is $3.49/month or $28.99/year.
- Privacy: minimal data collection — see /policy. No ads, no third-party analytics beyond Firebase (opt-out in app).
